WHO is eligible for a QSuper Part of Australian Retirement Trust Scholarship

• All registered nurses and midwives practising in Queensland – we are exploring leadership at all levels of nursing and midwifery
  

HOW to apply for a QSuper Part of Australian Retirement Trust Scholarship

• Complete the QSuper Part of Australian Retirement Trust Scholarship Application Form 
• Email your submission to events@cre8itevents.com.au with the subject title – AQNML QSuper Scholarship – “your name”. On receipt of your submission, the Conference Managers (Cre8it Events) will confirm receipt by email
  
• Submit 200 - 300 words outlining the contribution that you have made to the nursing and midwifery community e.g. implementing an initiative, mentoring, change management, upskilling etc. (including examples of how your contribution has had a positive impact on the nursing and midwifery community and how it is innovative)
  
• Self-nominate or nominate someone you feel is eligible for the QSuper Part of Australian Retirement Trust Scholarship (nominees must confirm that they accept the nomination)
  

Additional Criteria (optional)
QSuper Part of Australian Retirement Trust's values include better outcomes for indigenous communities and victims of domestic violence – please outline if these values are reflected in your application.

DOs & DON’Ts – Terms & Conditions

• Cannot be transferred to another person
  
• If the successful nominee is unable to accept the QSuper Part of Australian Retirement Trust Scholarship, the judging panel will reallocate the QSuper Part of Australian Retirement Trust Scholarship to another applicant
  
• All additional expenses e.g. flights and accommodation are at own expense
  
• Where the successful nominee has already registered for the Conference, the registration fee will be fully refunded
  
• The QSuper Part of Australian Retirement Trust Scholarship cannot be cashed in or deferred to another conference e.g. AQNML 2024 Conference
  
• The successful nominee will be required to present at the Conference for 10 minutes (including Q&A) regarding your submission – Thursday 1 or Friday 2 May 2025 – (time TBC)
  
• 1 x 12 month Membership to the AQNML - Current members will receive the next membership year complimentary / non-members will commence membership from time of submission acceptance until 30 June 2026
  

All submissions will be judged by two (2) Members of the AQNML Executive Committee and one (1) QSuper Part of Australian Retirement Trust representative.

TIMELINE

• Applications close - Wednesday 19 March 2025

• Announcement of QSuper Part of Australian Retirement Trust Scholarship Winner. All applicants will be advised by email if they are successful or unsuccessful - Friday 4 April 2025
  

• Acceptance of QSuper Part of Australian Retirement Trust Scholarship - Friday 11 April 2025
  

• Photo & Bio (Successful Scholarship applicant) - Friday 11 April 2025
  

• One 10 minute presentation at the AQNML 2023 Conference – Thursday 1 or Friday 2 May 2025 – (time TBC)
