IMPORTANT CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT

ACCYPN 2021 will be now be a Virtual Conference.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation throughout Australia, the ACCYPN Board and Conference Committee have decided to change the a Virtual Conference.

This means that if you registered as an in-person Delegate your registration will be converted to a Virtual Delegate.  Please note - the Conference will be recorded and made available on demand to all attendees. We will be in touch with in-person delegates to convert their registration to virtual and refund Master Class and dinner registrations.  We are currently updating the program and will advise when it is available.

Still planning on travelling to Darwin?  We are seeking EOI's from registered delegates that still plan to travel to Darwin (if restrictions allow) to gather together in a Hub venue - a decision on this will be based on interest and restrictions.

The Australian College of Children & Young People’s Nurses (ACCYPN) is hosting their 2021 Conference at the Hilton Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia 15 - 17 September 2021.

We will reflect on the 2020 the International Year of the Nurse & Midwife. The College wishes to celebrate and reflect on the work that Nurses and Midwives do and the impact that we have on the health and well being of Children and Young People.

The Conference theme is Recognising the Contribution of Children & Young People’s Nurses.

The Conference Committee invites you to submit an Abstract. We are looking for Abstracts that reflect the diversity of areas that nurses and midwives work in with children, young people and their families. Areas that would be potential sub themes for the Conference include, but are not limited to:

  • Rural and Remote Health
  • Indigenous Health Care
  • Clinical Paediatrics
  • Nurse Led Models of Care / Integrated and Interdisciplinary Models of Care
  • Neonatal Care 
  • Focusing on Young People’s Issues
  • Strengthening the Workforce 

Abstract presentations will be presented in the following formats:

  • Oral Presentations
  • ePoster Presentations
  • Rapid Fire Oral Presentations
