• do you come across a situation for the first time, have no idea what to do and you’re not sure of who to ask?

This interactive, group session will focus on the challenges that nurses and midwives face daily in their workplace.​

Participants will be taken on a journey in which they will explore various scenarios designed to present a range of professional practice issues including:

• ethical decision making
  
• managing the team – as a whole and the individual member
  
• difficult conversations
  
• professional boundaries
  
• documentation​
  

This session will encourage participants to solve problems through sharing their experiences and expertise,  offering possible solutions and being brave to ask the questions we are supposed to have the answers to.  The goal is to build a repertoire of strategies, initiatives and responses to those day to day issues that we learn to deal with through either trial and error or by having great role models.

​This will be a fun session with participants sharing their expertise as well as  learning new ways of solving old problems.
